Duties and Responsibilities: A nursing home administrator supervises clinical and administrative affairs of nursing homes and related facilities. Their duties include;

·       Overseeing staff and personnel

·       Analyzes operations

·       Executes needed procedural change

·       Ensures budget conformance

·       Executes the fire and safety program

·       Discusses care of residents with Medical Director

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year

Education: Bachelor’s degree but most have Master’s degree in long-term care administration, health services administration, public health or business administration
