Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and Responsibilities: An
ambulance dispatcher responds to emergency calls on a daily basis so they have
to remain rational and maintain communication.
Their
duties include:
· Operate emergency communication and
computer equipment
· Maintain exact times and
information on radio shift log
· Obtain incoming information and
dispatch police officers, emergency medical, and fire personnel
· Receive reports from the public of
crimes
· Maintain files of information
relating to emergency calls
· Provide emergency medical
instructions to callers
Salary: $22,000
- $52,000
Educational Requirements: High
school diploma or GED, Computer skills, 3 years of minimum experience

wouldn’t like to be an ambulance dispatcher because they don’t get paid well in
my opinion. The job doesn’t interest me either.
