Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities: An
ENT Specialist is also known as an otolaryngology. They are responsible for
surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, throat, and related areas to
the head and neck.
· Taking a history of the patient’s
overall health
· Examine the patient for outward
signs of an injury
· Keep accurate records of their
findings, diagnoses, and treatment of patients
· Perform surgery
· Follow-up care after the surgery
· May perform facial plastic surgery
· Inform patients of taking the necessary
precautions
· Build good relations with their
patients
· Write prescriptions for the medication
and provide directions on how to take them
· Recommend surgery
· Investigate problems that the
patient has
Salary: $205,000
per year
Education: 5
years of training in a surgical residency, one-year course in general surgery,
four-year course in otolaryngology, and a Bachelor’s degree in medicine,
complete medical school, a license from the state

I wouldn’t like to be one because medical-related jobs don’t interest me at all.
They do earn a pretty good amount of money.
