health educator is someone who promotes, maintains, and improves individual and
community health. Their duties include:
· Supervising staff
· Creating health-related materials
· Advocating for improved health
resources and policies
· Helping people find the appropriate
health services or information
· Collecting data and other
information to analyze needs and evaluate programs
· Preparing reports for management
and other stakeholders
Salary: $30,000
- $61,000 per year
Education: Bachelor’s
degree, certified health education specialist, a high school diploma, supply an
official transcript detailing their health education coursework, a degree in
health education or health promotion with coursework that includes psychology
and human development
