Reflexologist
Duties and Responsibilities: A reflexologist works to treat stress, sleep disorders, sports injuries, and chronic back pain. They have a belief in reflexology where they believe that certain areas of the body, known as reflexes are joined to parts of the body by ‘energy pathways’. Their duties include:
- Explaining treatment to the client
- Keeping treatment records
- Apply pressure with the thumb and fingers to the client’s feet and hands
- Taking a medical history, lifestyle, diet, and covering health
- Examine the client’s feet and hands for possible ‘blockages’
Salary: $69,200 per year
Education: Associate’s Degree
